To be prepared for any weather, killtec offers a wealth of features that make your everyday life easier, more pleasant, and more comfortable. Thanks to waterproof and windproof outer fabrics as well as welded seams, the styles offer reliable protection against wind and wetness. Our collections combine functional features and thoughtful details.

Waterproof

Waterproof outer fabrics on functional jackets and trousers with sealed seams reliably protect against heavy rain and snow. Perfect for all weather conditions.

Water-repellent

Water-repellent outer fabrics are ideal for changeable weather, as they keep moisture out while remaining breathable. Examples include quilted jackets or softshell jackets.

Breathable

Breathability indicates the material's water vapor permeability. Moisture is wicked outwards.

This value is measured in g/m²/24 hr.

Windproof

Our functional materials protect against wind and drafts and prevent the wearer from cooling down.

Water Column

Generally, our functional clothing items are equipped with a water column of 10,000 mm. This measurement indicates how much water pressure the material can withstand before water penetrates it. For example, 10K can withstand heavy rain.

Teflon EcoElite™

Teflon EcoElite™ impregnation is a special surface coating for textiles. This textile repellent is plant- and bio-based and features a non-fluorinated stain protection technology that repels water and water-based stains.

Dermizax® Membrane

is a high-quality PU membrane (polyurethane) from the Japanese manufacturer Toray, used in functional outdoor clothing. It is waterproof (20,000 mm water column), windproof, and breathable. Since it has no pores, it does not clog, is extremely stretchy, and easy to care for.

HYDROCOOL® Fabric

The innovative HYDROCOOL® fabric is made of quick-drying, dirt-repellent, anti-static, and moisture-wicking comfort-stretch material. This not only promises a high level of wearing comfort, but also contributes to effective body temperature regulation, leaving a refreshing feeling on the skin.

Recycled Material

For some components in our collection, such as linings, we use recycled polyester.

Waterproof

When wet, a pattern appears on selected jackets, playfully exciting children about rain and combining function with fun. This turns even grey weather into an
experience.

Packable

Some waterproof rain jackets and pants offer a packable feature. Practical for on the go and when traveling. The garment is packed into its own outer pocket or a separate bag.

Grow-Up Function

By opening a red seam, sleeves or trouser legs can be extended by 4 cm. This means the jacket or trousers can still be used in the next clothing size.

2-Way and 4-Way Stretch

Freedom of movement is essential for any outdoor activity. Stretch is the perfect companion for this. The material stretches in 2 or all directions, offering optimal wearing comfort.

Welded seams

Our waterproof products feature welded seams, guaranteeing protection from moisture.

Ventilation Openings

Front, back, and forearm ventilation openings help regulate body temperature. Excess body heat can be released more quickly without having to remove the garment. Especially during sports activities like skiing or hiking, this feature enhances breathability and offers additional comfort.
