a) Data Processing for the Use of Our Loyalty Program
With our free loyalty program, we want to give our customers the opportunity to benefit from the advantages of our killtec plus card, such as shopping discounts, in our specialist shops. For this purpose, we need your name and address to identify you as the holder of the killtec plus card. When you use your killtec customer card, we will collect, process, and use the customer data required for the calculation of the killtec plus bonus. These are the following details on your receipt: payment method, customer number, date, location, as well as the item and value of your purchases.
The legal basis for data processing in connection with our customer card is generally Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Providing your date of birth is voluntary.
The provision of your data is neither legally nor contractually required. However, without providing this data, it is not possible to provide you with our services in connection with our loyalty program.
b) Data Processing for Promotional Approaches
If you have consented to us sending you electronic information about new products, promotions, and interesting offers from killtec, your e-mail address will be used for promotional approaches.
If you have consented to receive personal offers, we will use your details and your date of birth to send you, for example, birthday greetings with discount offers.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.
If you have provided your postal address, we will use it to send you the above-mentioned promotional information by post.
You can object to receiving postal advertising at any time using the contact details mentioned in Section 1.
The legal basis for sending postal advertising is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Within our company, we process your personal data exclusively in the IT and marketing departments. This processing is carried out in strict compliance with applicable data protection regulations.
Outside our company, we use the service provider Rapidmail for sending emails. Rapidmail stores and processes data exclusively within the European Union and complies with the requirements of the GDPR. Further information on data processing by Rapidmail can be found in their privacy policy.
4. Storage Period
a) Data Processing for the Use of Our killtec plus card
Your data will be stored for as long as you wish to benefit from the advantages of our killtec plus card.
b) Data Processing for Promotional Approaches
Your data will be stored for promotional purposes until you withdraw your consent or, in the case of postal advertising, object to it. In the event of a withdrawal/objection, your data will be blocked to ensure that you no longer receive advertising from us.
